Through December: Home 4 the Holidays Adoption Event

Sponsored by Helen Woodward Animal Center and Blue Buffalo, the campaign’s goal is simple: Place orphaned pets into happy, loving homes, while educating people about the importance of choosing pet adoption over supporting puppy mills and backyard breeders. More than 4,000 pet adoption agencies, facilities and rescue groups take part, making it the largest pet adoption campaign on record. Learn more here.

Join the San Francisco SPCA for its 36th annual Holiday Windows event at Macy’s Union Square. Over the years, this beloved holiday tradition has brought generations of San Franciscans joy and has helped more than 10,000 homeless animals find their forever families. 5: TNR Certification Workshop

Community Cats Podcast, in partnership with Neighborhood Cats will host their monthly Trap-Neuter-Return Certification Workshop, which helps people learn how to help lost, abandoned or homeless cats and kittens. The workshop covers best practices for TNR and colony management, including planning and preparation for successful trapping. There will also be time for questions from attendees, which will be answered in real time by the experts from Neighborhood Cats. The workshop takes place at 2 p.m. EST, and registration costs $10, which includes access to the recorded session, handouts and certificate. Learn more about the workshop here.

5-6: CFA Cat Show

Cotton States Cat Club presents its 84th annual CFA Allbreed Cat Show, featuring six allbreed rings, two specialty rings and eight household pet rings. Takes place at Gas South Convention Center in in Duluth, Georgia. Learn more here.

Enjoy a fun weekend of all things pet at the Morgantown Pet Expo in Morgantown, Pennsylvania. The event will feature a TICA-sanctioned cat show, where you’ll see usual and not so usual cat breeds competing for the blue ribbon! Takes place at The Morgantown Center. Learn more here.

Black-Eyed Susan Cat Club, in conjunction with Morgantown Pet Expo presents its Feline Fall Fest show, featuring more than 100 cats. Learn more here.

Start your Christmas shopping early and find great gifts for friends and family at The Hobo Hotel for Cats’ annual Christmas Open House.
