Morris Animal Foundation wants to give animals a brighter future this holiday season with the support of animal lovers. This campaign will help fuel scientific inquiry, discovery and innovation, which are the keys to longer, healthier lives for all animals. To make an even bigger difference for animals, the Foundation’s Board of Trustees is matching all gifts, up to $20,000, through the end of the year, allowing donors to double the impact of their donation. In addition to direct gifts, donors can support the Foundation by ordering holiday cards, with proceeds supporting the Foundation’s scientific programs. Learn more here.
Through December: Home 4 the Holidays Adoption Event
Sponsored by Helen Woodward Animal Center and Blue Buffalo, the campaign’s goal is simple: Place orphaned pets into happy, loving homes, while educating people about the importance of choosing pet adoption over supporting puppy mills and backyard breeders. More than 4,000 pet adoption agencies, facilities and rescue groups take part, making it the largest pet adoption campaign on record. Learn more here.

Join the San Francisco SPCA for its 36th annual Holiday Windows event at Macy’s Union Square. Over the years, this beloved holiday tradition has brought generations of San Franciscans joy and has helped more than 10,000 homeless animals find their forever families. North Shore Animal League America is once again participating in Americana Manhasset’s Champions for Charity Holiday Shopping Benefit. Help support the organization by doing your holiday shopping at participating Americana Manhasset (New York) and select Wheatley Plaza stores from Dec. 1 to Dec. 3 – 25% of your designated full-price, pre-tax purchases will be donated back to North Shore Animal League America when you register for a complimentary champion number and designate North Shore Animal League America as your charity of choice. 2-4: PopCats 2022 – Austin, Texas
Presented by NULO, this fun-packed festival is fueled by the spirit of cats, pop and art. Check out cat playgrounds, artists, music, lots of photo ops, artisans, cat adoptions and more. 3: TNR Certification Workshop
Community Cats Podcast, in partnership with Neighborhood Cats will host their monthly Trap-Neuter-Return Certification Workshop, which helps people learn how to help lost, abandoned or homeless cats and kittens. The workshop covers best practices for TNR and colony management, including planning and preparation for successful trapping. There will also be time for questions from attendees, which will be answered in real time by the experts from Neighborhood Cats. The workshop takes place at 2 p.m. EST, and registration costs $10, which includes access to the recorded session, handouts and certificate. Learn more about the workshop here.
