The four shelter boys Freddo the Rottweiler, Bobby the Staffy X, YoYo the Staffy X and Conrad the German Shepherd have become really good friends.

They’ve worked so hard and come so far. Hours upon hours of training. Together sharing the highs and the lows.

Today they celebrated all the hard work they’ve put in and just how far they’ve come, with a fun farm day together. Playing, lure coursing, bush walking, swimming and eating a bbq chicken lunch!

They deserve it so much.

With only a few days left together, Conrad will be leaving on Saturday to be with his new forever home. A very passionate German Shepherd loving family who have already fallen deeply in love with Conrad through several home visits, he is going to have a truly wonderful rural life with this family.

YoYo will be off to be with his family in the coming weeks also.

So only Bobby and Freddo are left looking for their homes.

Today was a special day for the awesome 4!

We’ve put together a recap of their journey to date. There’s a few tense moments, so a word of warning. But this is their story, and it’s important to recognise how much effort they’ve put in to enjoy this day together, carefree.
