Today was a hot day at the farm, reaching 36 degrees Celsius (97 degree Fahrenheit)!

We headed off to the big pool for a big swim early together before it was too hot to be out.

After all the big doggies had their swim session with the kids, we were able to give the puppies their first swim.

At this stage it’s just getting them used to the water as part of their exposure training. Whether they learn to love swimming or not, they will have the chance whilst here at the farm to learn a little water confidence.

They were all very unsure of course, they’re only just 7 weeks old and have never been in the water before at all. Well done puppies!

We got a little pool slide for the girls that hangs over the dock for the holidays. The girls haven’t used a pool slide before so it was a little slow to pick up momentum, even mum had to get on there to show them it was easy. Although I’m not sure I did a great job convincing them!

Everyone jumped in even Adam, with a slushy in hand!

It was a lot of fun and all the doggies loved it. Holidays are all about being together for us, two and four legged.
