Veterinary
Well it’s been a crazy last few days for us here at the farm. Elle’s first day of school Thursday, new puppies arriving Friday.

But the purpose of this message is to let you all know that day care is cancelled this week. We received word that a classmate of Elle’s had tested positive for COVID on her second day at school, and unfortunately yesterday (Sunday) Elle became unwell.

We’ve now all been tested and both Elle and little Wolf tested positive.

They’re doing very well considering. Little Wolf is just very unhappy. Elle hasn’t been able to move from the couch, in and out of sleep, sick and not eating. But we’re hoping this is the worst of it.

Luke and I are household contacts so we obviously need to isolate from everyone. And in theory, the day care could run by our support staff, and not us, but we have made the decision to cancel day care.

We have not run a day without Luke before, he struggles to leave the pack to make a trip to the bathroom without dogs sitting on the fence waiting for his return. We feel it just wouldn’t be right, fair or safe to continue simply for the money.

We will still be caring for all the doggies in our care, all the usual routine. Training, feeding, cleaning, exercise, socialisation and vet appointments.

Of course we need the help of our support staff and family this week to help us get all this done where we cannot, and of course, not in contact with us.

For those that love to see a happy doggy video each day, we will still keep you all updated on all the doggies here.

Hoping you all out there are doing ok and thank you again and again for all your continued loving support for our family, two and four legged.
