Good To Know

When a team of animal rescuers got an urgent call about dogs suffering in an illegal shelter, they knew they had to act fast. They hurried to the location, hoping they weren’t too late to help.

When they arrived, their hearts sank at the sight before them. The dogs were in awful condition—skinny, chained up, and many squeezed into tiny cages. Sadly, because of the neglect and mistreatment, some of the dogs had gotten sick and passed away.

The dogs that survived had lost hope for freedom and happiness.

One of them was a brave mother dog named Shinna. As soon as she saw the rescuers, she greeted them warmly, licking their hands and pleading for them to save her puppies. Shinna was in bad shape herself—extremely thin and neglected.

Her belly was swollen, and she had lost the fur on her back.

Despite all she had been through, Shinna’s eyes lit up with joy as she looked at the rescuers. She wagged her tail and seemed thrilled that kind humans had finally come to help. Feeling moved, the rescuers fed all the dogs and promised to save them.

The dogs in the cages looked at the rescuers with grateful eyes. They were happy to finally have a proper meal.

Local shelters took the dogs into their care, and one of the rescuers decided to foster Shinna and her four puppies.

Shinna felt relief when she and her little ones moved into their foster home. She knew her babies were safe.

Their foster family took them to the vet for a full check-up. Thankfully, the puppies were healthy.

However, Shinna was malnourished and had heartworms. Before she could start treatment, she needed to build up her strength.

Her foster family gave Shinna lots of love and care. She kept licking their hands, as if to thank them for helping her.

Because Shinna had looked after her puppies so well in the illegal shelter, they didn’t have any trauma.

They played together and explored their new home. The foster family cared for the adorable pups, and they continued to grow and thrive.

As time went by, the puppies grew up and found loving families who adored them. Shinna was overjoyed that her babies had found forever homes. Their happiness and the love from her foster family gave her the strength to keep fighting to get better.

Five months after being rescued, Shinna finished her treatment.

She caught the eye of a kind man who gave her the loving home she’d always dreamed of. Shinna transformed into a healthy and beautiful dog with a shiny, soft coat.

Her heart was filled with joy because she finally received the love she’d always wanted.

Thanks to the kind people who saved them, all the neglected and hopeless dogs from that cruel shelter found their happily ever after.
