Are you thinking about bringing a new cat home? You are going to want to make sure you are prepared before you bring back that furry friend. You are going to need a litter box, food and water dishes, and toys.
You are also going to want to look around your apartment or your home and make sure you have areas that your cat would like to rest. Remember cats especially scared cats have specific areas that they like to go rest. They like to rest in elevated areas like the top of the refrigerator which are popular for really fearful cats or bookshelves or window sills. Sunny spots tend to be a favorite so go around to those areas and put some blankets or soft towels there so cats are encouraged to rest. You may also want to provide a nice cushy area in a hidden area like under the bed or the couch or even a coffee table. Just make sure when your cat goes to those areas you leave her alone. When she goes there she is needing some space.
When you have your toys remember to sprinkle them around the apartment or your home and rotate them everyday so they are different for your cat on a daily basis., When you bring a new cat home it is also nice to have more then one box and more then one station of water and food. So make sure you enough bowls, make sure you have a litter box , make sure you have an appropriate litter and remember many cats prefer a clumping unscented litter and make sure the litter is a depth that those cats like, a few inches at least. And you should be all set.
