Cats

A collaboration between the craft beer brewmasters at Ale Industries and the East Bay SPCA is putting a fresh spin on spreading the news about adoptable cats and dogs.

Titled the “East Bay IPA Collaboration Project,” this new series of beers showcases kitties and canines who are currently up for adoption via beer can art. Proceeds from sales of the four-packs will go to the East Bay SPCA.

statement from the brewery’s CEO, Yunyi Zhang, said, “We felt it was important to get as many of the East Bay SPCA’s available animals on beer can labels as possible. Our goal is to create awareness of how many adorable animals there are waiting at the East Bay SPCA, and how the community can help.”

What Kinds Of Pets Will You See On Your Beer Cans?

One of the felines spotlighted on the cans is. Brady. He’s a three-year-old tuxedo chap looking for a forever home and promises to be a perfect assistant for anyone working from home.

According to Brady’s profile on the East Bay SPCA’s website, this is one kitty who comes with a mightily impressive resume:

“You’re working on the computer? Let me press the keys. Reading the paper? I’ll hold the pages down for you. Watching TV? I’ll just plop in your lap so you can pet me.”

Other cats who star on the beer cans include a fashionista kitty named Prada, a bright-eyed, ginger tabby called Hailey, and a coy looking kitten going by the moniker of Enchantress.

Each beer can included in the East Bay IPA Collaboration Project series comes complete with a QR code. Anyone interested in giving one of these kitties a forever home can scan it to get information about the process.

According to the Ale Industries’ Instagram account, they’ve already been “overwhelmed” by the response to the campaign.
