Good To Know

As parts of the world head into colder months, cats may be looking for warm places to rest. Here are our top tips to help keep them comfortable:

  • Provide a warm washable blanket on a bed, chair or sofa they like to use
  • Provide warm blankets in sunny locations or near warm places at home
  • If you think your cat could get into it easily enough, use a radiator hammock – remember to keep the radiator on a low setting to prevent burns
  • Position beds above floor level and away from draughts
  • Offer covered beds (such as igloo-style beds) to help keep the warmth in
  • For older cats, position ramps, steps and platforms to help them reach their favourite areas.
