Good To Know

A group of friends who decided to go dumpster diving stumbled upon a scared kitten amidst broken glass and rotten eggs. They quickly took action to rescue the kitten and find him a loving home.

The friends were exploring dumpsters, as they often do, looking for discarded treasures. Companies and stores frequently throw away items for seemingly insignificant reasons, and these dumpster divers often find valuable things in the process. However, this time, their adventure took an unexpected turn.

One of the guys exclaimed that he found a kitten in the dumpster. The others rushed over to find the frightened feline. The kitten was surrounded by broken glass and rotten eggs, making for a dangerous and upsetting situation. The friends immediately took it upon themselves to save the kitten, knowing they couldn’t leave him in such a hazardous environment.

As they carefully extracted the kitten from the dumpster, two girls approached and offered to take him in. The friends were relieved, knowing the kitten would not have to be taken to an animal shelter to face an uncertain future. They were grateful that he would be going to a good home where he would be well taken care of.

The kitten, now named Oscar, quickly adjusted to his new home and family. He proved to be an affectionate and friendly cat, constantly seeking attention and wanting to be close to his new humans. Oscar’s love for food is insatiable, likely a result of having to fight for sustenance while living in the dumpster.

Oscar’s new family also includes a black Labrador, who is adjusting to having a feline sibling. While the dog was initially hesitant to accept Oscar, the two are slowly growing accustomed to each other, with Oscar eager to befriend his canine brother.

The family admits they weren’t planning on having more pets, but now that they have Oscar, they can’t imagine life without him. Thanks to the dumpster divers’ chance encounter and their kindness, Oscar is in a loving home. This beautiful story is proof that every life is precious.
