Exclusive Christmas card range launches this month

A brand new charity Christmas card range that will raise money for the RSPCA launches today through thortful.

The partnership launches for the 2022 festive season and will continue into 2023, providing exclusively-designed, animal-themed greetings card designs for occasions throughout the year.

The RSPCA Christmas card range, designed exclusively by creator ‘MadeByHarriet,’ is available on thortful’s website from today (1 Nov), with something for everyone from witty wildlife to festive pets.

As the cost of living crisis worsens, the RSPCA is braced for one its toughest winters. More and more owners are struggling to care for their pets, the expense of pet food, veterinary care and other costs is rapidly becoming unaffordable for many.

thortful’s customers will be able to support the RSPCA in its vital work throughout this winter with £1 from every one of the exclusive animal-themed cards sold going to the charity, and a further 5p from every other A5 Christmas card sold on the website. Customers will also have an opportunity to make a donation to the RSPCA through thortful’s Just Giving campaign page

Chris Sherwood, Chief Executive of the RSPCA, said: “We understand how an animal is so much more than just a pet, they are a part of our family – I always sign cards from me and my rescue cat, Marmalade, as I know many pet owners do! That’s why we’re delighted to partner with thortful who share our passion for fostering connections, and it’s another way for animal lovers to help animals this Christmas.

“This Christmas we’re determined to ensure no animal pays the price of the cost of living

crisis – but we can’t do this alone. That’s why we’re thrilled to kickstart our

partnership with thortful working together to deliver that special connection animals provide

to more homes this christmas and raise vital funds for our mission. Together we’re working

to create a kinder, more thortful world for all animals – and every card sold will help us achieve that”

Andy Pearce, CEO of thortful said: ”We’re delighted to be partnering with the RSPCA for their Christmas Rescue. Like the RSPCA we truly believe that the animals around us deserve our care – and we know our customers agree too. So we leapt at the chance to pitch in, raise funds, help create the exclusive card collection, and spread the word. Our team, customers, and creators, are all behind the charity to help keep their Animal Rescue Teams on the road this Christmas.”
