OwlKitty, every feline lover’s most beloved source of kitty memes, has another banger for us. This time it’s a feline reimagining of the 1997 film Titanic, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.

Incorporating Lizzy, a two-year-old black tabby from Portland, Oregon, into the historical romance epic is, well, epic.

And if you’re unfamiliar with Lizzy’s work, keep reading.

How OwlKitty Steals Our Hearts — & Films

For the uninitiated, OwlKitty is an online personality that produces cat video parodies of films. All of the videos are hilarious, feline-friendly, and created with quite a bit of green screen know-how.

If you’re unaware, green screen allows video creators to take video out of one thing and superimpose it into a different background or scene — hence why one can never be too gullible on the internet these days.

To date, OwlKitty has parodied over 50 films, from cult classics to Oscar winners, including American Psycho, Harry Potter, Home Alone, Jurassic Park, and now, of course, Titanic.

Lizzy has starred in absolutely all of them — and should be receiving residuals in the form of treats in my opinion. After all, the OwlKitty YouTube channel has over 1.8 million subscribers. She is, without a doubt, a celebrity.

Personally, my favorite of Lizzy’s performances is the one for Jurassic Park. On YouTube, the name of the video is simply, “Jurassic Park but with a cat,” which is also hilarious. She makes for quite the intimidating (yet adorable) T-Rex, without all that nasty business with the goat.

There’s even a little bonus scene at the end where she plays the triceratops, and it’s the best.

OwlKitty’s Titanic Masterpiece

Lizzy’s latest, though, is the Titanic video put up for Valentine’s Day. For which the title card reads, “This Valentine’s Day fall in love again.” But with Lizzy.

Most of the film’s most iconic scenes are included, short one steamy love scene that would have been a step too far. But the “flying” scene on the front of the ship is there, and that one alone is worth the price (free) of admission. So far, the video has racked up over 4.2 million views.

And, they even released a little behind-the-scenes video for it. This definitely shows just how much fun these guys have with their feline. We approve. Follow OwlKitty on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
