Oh gee these moments of goodbye are tough, but we know these moments are special too. Special because it means they’re soon to meet their loving forever homes.

Today we said good bye to the Cattle Dog X litter. Like the Great Danes X Mastiffs before them, it is now time for them to leave the farm to be desexed and then go home to their new forever homes.

We will really miss them.

But we’re so happy for them.

The Staffy litter was scheduled to go too but in light of Miss Red’s diagnosis we and the rescue have decided to put off their desexing and adoptions for just a little longer. So they’re just a little bit older. Not too much, but a little more time with them is not something we’re complaining about.

Miss Red is still in hospital. We hope to know more tomorrow. The vet wanted to keep her in longer because of some laboured breathing.
