Jan. 22: National Answer Your Cat’s Questions Day

At some point, we’ve all wished our cats could talk to tell us how they’re doing and what they want. On this special day, we listen to each meow to try to understand just what our cats are getting at. More than likely, the question is, “When do we eat?”

Jan. 28-30: Felines, Football, & Fun Cat Show

Presented by Gulf Coast Feline Foundation and sponsored by TICA, this show takes place in Deer Park, Texas, and will provide an action-packed and fun-filled weekend. Watch up to 225 purebred cats, kittens and household pets compete in this three-day competition. You can meet the breeders in person and learn all about the various breeds. There will also be a feline costume contest, Texas-style barbecue, face painting for kids (and adults), raffles, shopping, on-site adoptions and much more. Learn more here.

Jan. 28-30: World of Pets Expo

Come to the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Maryland, for this fun and educational experience for the entire family. In addition to the many shows and activities, there are educational opportunities, workshops and seminars addressing unique pet needs. To learn more, click here.

Jan 29-30: 45th Annual Saintly City Cat Club Championship & Household Pet Show

Held in conjunction with the St. Paul Winter Carnival, this CFA-sponsored show will feature more than 130 cats. As many as 26 different breeds will be judged in four classes: kittens, championship, premiership and household pets. A “king” and “queen” cat will be caped and crowned from the household pet cat division on Sunday afternoon by a special guest. Takes place at RiverCentre in St. Paul, Minnesota. Learn more here.
