Dogs

As this past Sunday morning dawned across the nation, newly returned to standard time, it was clear our pets did not get the message. Confused, distressed, or simply driven to the brink by hunger, America’s cats and dogs let us know, in no uncertain terms, that they would have preferred their meals at the usual time, thank you very much.

Here are some of the more illustrative examples we found of pets protesting the annual falling back of the clocks.

I command thee to feed me

I can’t even look at you

Approval ratings really don’t get much worse

One more hour of this and I will become a werewolf, you know

Unimpressed

What! False! Hope!

We could find another family that actually feeds us

Did I do something wrong?

Fine. I’ll wait.

Can not believe this is actually happening right now

A pleading stare

Dogs against daylight savings

Too much to bear

Are you being serious right now?

I can’t believe I have to ask

Over it

Sit-in protest

Three bowls. Three cats. You know what to do.

The look that sees right through you

Happy Daylight Savings Time! Said no cat ever.

Stiiiiiiill waiting

Hint, hint
