A Veterinary formulated diet! Like Hills Z/D, Derm Defense or Derm Complete. Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein or Selected Protein. Your vet can help figure out a good diet to trial.

Typically when pets are allergic to the food 93% of the time it is the protein. So I would recommend switching to a less common proteins source such as lamb, venison, salmon. If no luck your vet could always get you a prescription for a hydrolyzed protein diet.

Have you tried Farmina N&D dog food? I use it mainly cause there’s strict regulations in Italy about what is put into dog food. Another point is they have far less tocopherols than USA dog food. Tocopherols are linked to cancer and it is a preservative. Now, the dog itself could be allergic to grains and I’ve never heard of a dog being allergic to meat in general. You can try the ancestral grain or the grain free dog food from farmina.
